AnchorBank seeks calendar submissions

In celebration of its 90th year serving customers in Wisconsin, AnchorBank is asking the public to share their favorite digital photographs of local landmarks, scenery and community events for inclusion in its special 2009 anniversary calendar.

"This is a great opportunity to be a part of Wisconsin's history," said regional manager Paula Kolbeck. "AnchorBank has served hundreds of thousands of people across the state for the better part of a century, and now everyone can take part in celebrating that history by submitting their own photographs for consideration."

One photograph will be chosen for each month of the calendar and another will get the special honor of gracing the cover. You can upload your high-resolution digital picture on AnchorBank's Web site at from now until Aug. 31.

"We are hoping to receive a wide variety of photographs from all around the state, and a panel of judges will help choose the finalists," said Kolbeck.

All digital photographs should be submitted as JPEG files. Log on to for instructions. Entrants are also asked to provide their name, e-mail address and the location of the photograph along with a brief description.

The AnchorBank 90th Anniversary Calendar will be available in branches Nov. 1. It's free and can be found at all 76 of AnchorBank's neighborhood locations.

Founded in 1919, AnchorBank is one of the state's largest financial institutions with 76 locations throughout Wisconsin.
