Loehr joins First National Community Bank Board

First National Community Bank is proud to announce the appointment of Todd Loehr, to its Board of Directors, effective April 19, 2018.

Loehr, a native of New Richmond, is the President & CEO of Wisconsin Lighting, Inc., a New Richmond ecommerce lighting and lampshade company. Following graduation from New Richmond High School, Loehr studied electrical engineering at the University of Minnesota. He then spent 11 years working in both Switzerland and Germany, where he served on the executive management team for the Swiss industrial packaging company presently known as Bosch Packaging. With sales and computer technology as his passion, it was there that Todd held the reigns of the Network Systems Division. Following this position, Todd assumed the role of European Managing Director of Business Development for DVT Corporation, an incubator company.

In 2000, Todd married his wife Tamara in Friedrichshafen, Germany and in 2006, after having two daughters, he and his family moved back to the Midwest in the US. At that time, he and his father Vern Loehr purchased Wisconsin Lighting, then a manufacturing company located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Despite the recession from 2008-2011, Todd and his father averted a shut-down of the company by changing the business model from a business-to-business format to a direct-to-consumer sales company relying on internet sales. In just a short two-year period, the business sold and produced more product than ever before. The pattern of success continues for the company, which has since garnered the title of "St. Croix County Small Business of the Year" by the St. Croix County Economic Development Corporation.

Now residing in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, Todd enjoys life with his wife Tamara and their 4 children. He is active with City of New Richmond Economic Development projects, volunteers his time as a hockey coach, enjoys the outdoors fishing, playing hockey and traveling with his family. FNCB welcomes Todd Loehr to its board.

While we welcome a new addition to the team, First National Community Bank would like to offer immense thanks to our current outgoing board member, Jim Counter. For more than 20 years, Jim has offered dedicated service and contributions to the FNCB board, customers, its officers and employees. In his more than 2 decades of service, Jim has played an instrumental part in the growth of FNCB with the addition of 2 bank locations during his tenure. Jim has fervently served the organization since 1997, and will complete his role on the FNCB board as of April 30, 2018. Congratulations on your official retirement Jim, and many wonderful wishes for the future!
