Hazel Mackin Column: Go on a 'blind date' with a book
February is just around the corner so we are all ready for our annual Blind Date with a Book program! Blind dates can be scary, but picking out a wrapped book to take home is much easier! No, we don't offer dating services at the library, but in celebration of Valentine's Day, participating in this program will get you in the drawing for dinner at Bobtown Brewhouse! For tweens and teens participating the drawing will be for Carbone's. We've found that so many patrons have really enjoyed the "blind date" that they ended up with, even though the selection wasn't something they typically would have picked.
