Hammond Library Column: Showing our appreciation - Fine Free Library
We appreciate everyone in our community and surrounding communities who visit our little library. To show our appreciation we are a fine free library! Yes, that means that any items you check out from the Hammond Community Library are fine free even if they are a day late, there will be no charges. You will still get a gentle reminder if your item is overdue, but you can rest assured that your items will not have a fine.
Come in and see what your library is all about—from the programs to the materials offered. Libraries are all about helping families be thrifty with providing access to books, videos, magazines, audiobooks, e-materials and so much more with a library card. Don't have a library card, stop in and we can get you a card within a few short minutes. Please remember to bring along identification, and you will be set.
