NR chamber to host 'Eggs and Issues' session Sept. 16
The inaugural New Richmond Chamber of Commerce- and City of New Richmond-sponsored “State of the Education” forum focusing on the year ahead will be held Friday, Sept. 16, 7:30-9 a.m., at WITC’s Cashman Center in New Richmond.
In addition to discussing challenges, changes and the new school year ahead, the focus of this event to chamber members is “Preparing Tomorrow’s Workforce” -- one of the most relevant issues facing employers locally and across the state and country.
Guest speakers are New Richmond K12 Superintendent Patrick Olson, WITC Vice President Craig Fowler and UW-River Falls Chancellor Dean Van Galen, all of whom will focus on their respective areas of education as the school year for each kicked off this month.
This “Eggs and Issues” breakfast, which begins at 7:30 a.m., will include time for questions from the audience.
Chamber members and the public are invited to the event.
A hot breakfast is included. There is no charge to attend this event for chamber members. It’s $20 for non-members.
