City of New Richmond Advertisements for Bid - East Send Street Utilities Project

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of New Richmond until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the following items in the approximate quantities indicated:
385 LF6-Inch Water Main
112 Lb.Water Main Fittings
1 EachHydrant
75 LFDirect Bore 1-Inch Water Service
80 LF1-inch Copper Water Service
145 LF4-inch Sanitary Service
145 LF8-inch Sanitary Sewer
2 EachSanitary Manhole
16 LF12-inch Storm Sewer
Bids shall be on the form provided for that purpose and according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH) dated June 11, 2014.
The Bidding Documents may be seen at New Richmond City Hall located at: 156 East First Street, New Richmond, WI 54017.

Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids shall be directed to the City Clerk securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, “BID FOR EAST SECOND STREET UTILITIES PROJECT.”
Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Contractors on the Project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages and labor standards as determined by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development Wage Rate Determination, The City of New Richmond reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
