VILLAGE OF STAR PRAIRIE: Ad For Bids- Main St. N Improvement Project

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of Main Street North Improvement Project will be received by the Village of Star Prairie, WI, at the office of the Village Hall, 207 Bridge Avenue, until 10:00 A.M. local time on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read for furnishing all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:
Main Street North Improvement Project
In general, work consists of street improvements to Main Street North (320 LF) including grading of reclaimed surface (by others), additional of aggregate base, asphalt pavement, and associated restoration.
All Bids must be prepared on the Bid Form contained in the Bidding Documents and submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. A portion of the project is funded through the Local Road Improvement Program.
Bidders desiring a copy of the Bidding Documents may obtain them electronically from Quest CDN at http://www.questcdn.com (eBidDoc Number 5769072) or through Stevens Engineers' website at www.stevensengineers.com. Bidding Documents may be seen at the Star Prairie Village Hall and at the Issuing Office of Stevens Engineers, Inc, Consulting Engineers, 2211 O'Neil Road, Hudson, WI 54016.

Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates are required on this project.
The Village reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.
The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interests of the Village.
