Minnesota breweries include Tonka Beer Company, Flat Earth Brewing, Excelsior Brewing Company, Brau Brothers Brewing Co., Lucid Brewing, Lift Bridge Brewing Co., Indeed Brewing Co. and Badger Hill Brewing.

The VIP tasting area will be taking place in the newly built Somerset Amphitheater Saloon. Attendees will get a tasting glass, craft beer samples, free full-size beers, free food served by Croix Valley Foods, special beer demonstrations and tastings with brew masters, games and live entertainment.

In addition to the beer tasting, there will be live music and on-site camping. To keep the Minnesota vs. Wisconsin fun going, cheese curds and fried walleye sandwiches will be available for purchase along with pig wings and pizza.

Tickets are available online at www.borderbattlebeerfest.com and at the door the day of the event. Ticket prices include a tasting cup, an event program and craft beer sampling.

In order to promote safe driving, the festival is bringing on a brew bus ride, so attendees can catch a ride closer to home after sipping a variety of brews. Attendees can drive to Excelsior Brewing Company's tap room to taste a few beers, then hop on the bus to Somerset Amphitheater for Border Battle Beer Fest and get back safely after tasting beers and having fun.
