Appleton, Stevens Point make Top 100
Two Wisconsin cities are on a new list of America's Top-100 Places to Live.
Appleton and Stevens Point were recognized by RelocateAmerica.com, a Web site for people who plan to move.
The cities were not ranked in any special order.
For Appleton, the site mentioned its new high-tech Barlow Planetarium, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of minor league baseball, numerous trails and lots of job opportunities.
It also said Appleton's Fox River Mall is the largest north of Milwaukee.
For Stevens Point, Relocate America cited its vast educational centers, including the University of Wisconsin and Mid-State Technical College campuses.
It also said Point has an abundance of green space, and quaint shops in an historic downtown.
