The event begins at 5 p.m. with a Marketplace in the school commons with baked goods, crafts, artwork and other good for sale.
The Variety Show in the school auditorium starts at 7 p.m. Local talent will on stage singing, dancing, and performing magic tricks.
Tickets, $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12, also cover a soup supper and dessert. They can be bought at River Falls Area Hospital, River Falls State Bank and at Dish and the Spoon Cafe. Call 612-819-6451 for ticket information.
Those who pay to attend this event should know that all the money raised goes to support free clinic operations.
Based in River Falls, the Free Clinic sees patients weekly. They come from all over the two-county area to seek free medical care and medications available to those who do not have access to medical insurance and meet income guidelines.
Through the donation of time of the more than 200 regular volunteers, patients are able to see health care providers, get information at intake about other local services available, receive X-rays and lab work as needed, and receive prescription medications.
