Authorities believe missing Hatfield woman still alive
Authorities believe a west central Wisconsin woman missing for over five days is still alive.
They'll resume their search today for Alisha Sidie, 27, of Hatfield.
Hundreds of friends, relatives, and volunteers have helped officers look for Sidie.
She was last seen Friday night leaving the house she shared with her ex-husband Doug, after the two got into an argument.
Jackson County sheriff's sergeant Pat LaBarbera said the couple recently divorced, but was reconciling.
Doug reported his ex-wife missing Saturday night. She's the mother of twin 2-year-old boys.
LaBarbera says officers are still treating the case as a search and rescue mission and not a recovery effort.
Her sister, Tracy Rowlee, said a bloodhound tracked Sidie's scent on Monday near a wooded trail. But the path of the scent ended abruptly.
