Bad karaoke singing results in nasty fight
New Richmond Wisconsin 127 South Knowles Avenue 54017

What would Columbo, TV's famous crime-solving police lieutenant, say? A River Falls police officer investigating a nasty fight with injuries at the back door of Emma's Bar is told the disturbance may have begun earlier in the night when one victim did poorly singing karaoke.

And so it goes. The 28-year-old victim later told police that he was insulted by the assailant at Ground Zero bar after taking the microphone to sing there. The bad blood continued at Coach's Bar before fighting later erupted at Emma's as people were spilling out into the alley.

An officer chased down and handcuffed a 24-year-old Roberts man, charging him with battery, disorderly conduct and a probation violation. The attack by this suspect allegedly bloodied two other men. Both refused services of the ambulance.
