Badger football team drops out of the coaches' Top-25 after its loss at Ohio State
The Wisconsin football team dropped out of the USA Today coaches' Top-25 after their 31-13 loss at Ohio State on Saturday.
Offensive line coach Bob Bostad was still amazed Sunday that the Badgers held the ball for almost 43 minutes. He said he's never seen that kind of ball control.
And he was disappointed the offense couldn't finish their drives and score any touchdowns.
Wisconsin's only score was on a fake field-goal attempt. Bostad said the Badgers will face another strong, physical defense next Saturday, when they host No. 11 Iowa. Defensive end J.J. Watt says the Badgers have great chemistry and they'll have a positive, smarter response in getting ready for the Hawkeyes.
Iowa is 6-0 overall, and 2-0 in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin is now 5-1 overall, and 2-1 in the conference.
