The University of Wisconsin men's hockey team earns three points on the long road trip to Anchorage, Alaska.

After a 2-1 win Friday night, the Badgers men's team scored two goals in the final period, coming back from a 4-2 deficit.

Ben Street counted early in the third, then Michael Davies tied the score at 4-4 with 3:20 left.

Neither team could score in overtime.

Wisconsin's record is 10-10-4 and the team is tied with St. Cloud State and Minnesota for fifth place in the WCHA.

Minnesota comes to Madison next weekend.

Women win

The Wisconsin women's hockey team has another winning streak going, the latest reaching six straight with a 4-1 win over Ohio State.

Jinelle Zaugg, Hilary Knight, Angie Keseley and Meghan Duggan scored the goals for the Badgers. Goalie Jessie Vetter had 20 saves.

Wisconsin's record is now 16-6-2 overall and 12-4-2 in the WCHA.

Wisconsin scored less than a minute and a half into the road contest on a power play goal.

Ohio State wasn't able to kill the shutout until halfway through the final period.

The Badgers return home to the Kohl Center next week for their first home contest in two months.
