Badger men shoot down Northwestern; stay atop Big Ten
Marcus Landry's 21 points lead the University of Wisconsin Badgers to a 62-50 win over Northwestern.
Landry only missed two shots in the highest scoring game of his career.
The Badgers stay unbeaten in conference play and on top of the Big Ten standings at 5-0. The team's record improves to 15-2 overall.
Landry hit 6-of-7 from the floor and 9 of 10 free throws. He got help from Joe Krabbenhoft who scored 13 and grabbed nine rebounds.
The Badger defense was important, holding Northwestern to the fewest points the Wildcats had scored in a game this year. They shot less than 42 percent and had a season-low four three pointers.
