Badgers' offensive coordinator wants improvement from Brown Saturday at Minnesota
Wisconsin's offensive coordinator wants a better performance from running back Zach Brown on Saturday at Minnesota.
Brown lost a fumble in last weekend's victory over Michigan State and he has only averaged 43 yards a game after winning the starting tailback spot at pre-season camp.
Coordinator Paul Chryst says Brown does a good job of preparing for games, and he needs to trust in that preparation on game-day.
Meanwhile, Chryst will also look for another solid performance from running back John Clay.
He rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown against Michigan State.
The Badgers will face a Minnesota defense that gives up just 3.3 yards per carry. The Gophers have given up 578 rushing yards in four games, which ranks seventh in the Big Ten. But 261 of those yards came against a triple-option running offense from Air Force.
