Badgers put away Gophers at Kohl Center
Balanced scoring, strong defense and a lot of free throws.
The University of Wisconsin uses its usual recipe to roll past Minnesota Saturday by a 65-56 score.
Marcus Landry's 12 points led five Badgers in double figures as Wisconsin ran its record to 21-4. The Badgers are 11-2 in the Big Ten.
Minnesota held a three-point lead with about 12 minutes left in the second half, but the Badgers went on a 14-4 run to put it away. Six of those 14 points came from the free throw line, as Wisconsin nailed 25-of-33 charity tosses.
