Berdean Beth Bottolfson, 79
Berdean Beth Bottolfson, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Amery, Wisconsin, on June 21, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Range, Wisconsin, on Dec. 17, 1934, the sixth of nine children to Robert and Dorothy Johnson. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Bottolfson on March 17, 1955. Over the years, Berdean worked at Hart's Bakery, Fabri-Tek, CTS (in Baldwin and New Hope) and Dick's Fresh Market in Amery.
Berdean was an avid reader, loved quilting with the ladies of the Little Falls Lutheran Church, and enjoyed making lefse and homemade chicken and noodles for family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy and a sister, Erma Brist.
Left to mourn are her children, Bruce (Joan) of New Richmond, Wis., Mark (Brenda Sigsworth) of Amery, Allan (Cara) of Fifield, Wis., Dale of Amery and Lori (Tim) Bump of Amery. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Karri Becker, Nicole Hudson, Andy Bottolfson, Rick Bottolfson, Travis Bottolfson, Dayne Bottolfson, Christa Bottolfson, Taylor Bottolfson, Kelsey Bottolfson, Josh Bump, Mike Bump and Jake Bump; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Evan, Caedon and Jazzmyn; as well as four brothers; three sisters; and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, at the Little Falls Lutheran Church in Amery. A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, June 27, at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, as well as for the hour before the service at the church. Burial will be at the Little Falls Cemetery.
