This audience participation play will enchant kids from 3 years old on up.

The Big Bad Wolf decides it is time to change her Big Bad image and invite the three little pigs to a barbeque. Misunderstandings, hilarious piggy panic and lots of huffing and puffing ensue in this wacky version of the classic tale. "Three Little Pigs" is an audience participation show sure to be a big hit with the youngest audiences and fun for the grown-ups too.

"Three Little Pigs" is written and directed by Kathy Welch and features Old Gem Professional Company members: Matt Kraft of Eden Prairie, Minn., Jameen Lauck of Stillwater, Minn., Heather Brady of St. Paul, Minn., and Tom Monn of Woodbury, Minn. Filled with physical comedy and goofy puns, this side-splitting story is geared for young audiences but is sure to bring a smile to all. The last time "Three Little Pigs" was performed at the Old Gem, in 2005, a visiting kindergartener said "This is the best play ever!"

Every January the Old Gem produces an audience participation play based on a familiar story. The actors ask kids in the audience to join them on stage to help move the story along. With the audience's help, the three pigs will certainly be able to construct their houses of straw, sticks and bricks but will it be enough to deter an insistent wolf?

Tickets are $11 for adults and $8 for children. Weekday matinees for groups are available.
