The U14 BlackCats won the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association Girls State Championships Tournament in Reedsburg March 3-4.

The BlackCats, made up of players from the River Falls and Baldwin hockey associations, posted a come-from-behind, 2-1, overtime victory over Northern Exposure (Hayward-Ashland-Spooner) in the state quarterfinal game and defeated the Central Wisconsin Storm (Wausau-Mosinee-Everest), 3-0, in the semifinals before beating Green Bay, 4-0, in the championship game.
