BP stores donate to youth academy

Bob and Steve's BP Amoco Shops, with assistance from BP Fueling Communities, made a $5,000 donation to the Workforce Resource Youth Career Venture Academy.

BP Fueling Communities provides grant donations to local organizations that are nominated by local BP business owners to support the communities in which they do business.

Making the presentation to Training Coordinator Sara Benedict and Workforce Consultant Liz Frank at the Workforce Resource St. Croix Valley Job Center office were Bob Michels and Steve Jerlow from Bob & Steve's BP Amoco Shops.

Workforce Resource offers a variety of adult and youth employment and training programs including the Youth Career Venture Academy. The program is open to youth ages 14-21 in Barron, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pierce, Pepin, St. Croix and Pierce counties.
