The Milwaukee Brewers will play their first home game since the All-Star break tonight, when they take on the Atlanta Braves.

The Brewers are coming off a 3-4 road trip in which they dropped to fourth place in the National League Central.

They're now a game behind the Chicago Cubs and Houston, and 2.5 behind front-running St. Louis.

The Cardinals won a rain-shortened contest at Washington last night, 4-1 in seven innings. The other three contenders were all idle.

Atlanta comes into Miller Park with a 6-2 record since the All-Star break, but they lost yesterday to San Francisco 5-1.

Atlanta is 49-47. Milwaukee is 48-47.

Left-hander Manny Parra will start for the Brewers tonight against Braves' right-hander Javier Vasquez.

Second baseman Felipe Lopez is expected to return to the Milwaukee lineup tonight.

He hurt his left hamstring on Tuesday night at Pittsburgh.
