Brewers top Astros; play Twins tonight
The Milwaukee Brewers scored three runs in the seventh inning last night to beat the Astros in Houston, 4-3.
Prince Fielder tied it with a two-run single. And Corey Hart doubled home the game-winning run.
Hart went 3-5 on the night. Ryan Braun went 2-4 with a triple, a run scored, and an RBI.
Milwaukee out-hit the Astros 13-10, and went 4-11 with runners in scoring position.
Seth McClung pitched a scoreless sixth inning to get the win. He's 1-1.
Trevor Hoffman worked his way out of a ninth inning jam to get his 11th save. Hunter Pence and Miguel Tejada homered for the Astros, who've alternated wins and losses in their last six games.
Jeff Fulchino took the loss in relief. He's now 0-1.
Lance Berkman and Astros' manager Cecil Cooper were both ejected in the fifth inning.
They feverishly argued an umpire's call after Braun made a long throw from left to get a sliding Berkman out at the plate.
Milwaukee remains unbeaten in its last 10 series, and has won eight of its last nine contests.
Tonight, the Brewers open Inter-league play at Minnesota.
Left-hander Manny Parra will face Twins' right-hander Kevin Slowey.
