Brewers will raise ticket prices by 5.3 percent
The Milwaukee Brewers are raising their prices next year by an average of 5.3 percent.
Prices for club seats, bleachers and Bernie's Terrace will remain the same and all other seating areas will cost $1-$2 more.
Prices for marquee games will stay the same.
That includes Opening Day and games against the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins.
The Brewers will also sell same-day tickets in the loge bleachers in Section 238 for $10.
Team vice president Rick Schlesinger said focus groups were conducted and fans bought into the idea that the money from higher ticket prices would be put back into the club to make it more competitive.
Next year's average ticket price at Miller Park is $22.10. This year's average throughout the big leagues was $26.64.
