Bucks get 3rd quarter stinging from Hornets
The Milwaukee Bucks lost at New Orleans Monday 106-92.
The third quarter was the Bucks' downfall for the second straight game. They only shot 29-percent in that period and a four-point halftime lead for Milwaukee turned into a seven-point deficit going into the fourth quarter.
The Hornets then sealed their victory with a 15-4 run.
Michael Redd led the Bucks with 19 points. Forward Bobby Simmons returned after missing one game with a sprained neck. He had eight points and three bounds in 23 minutes off the bench.
Tyson Chandler had 20 points and 15 rebounds for New Orleans, which had a 23-7 edge in second-chance points.
The Hornets won their fifth straight, while the Bucks have now lost five of their last six.
Milwaukee returns home tonight (Tuesday) to play Phoenix, which has the NBA's second-best record.
