Chorale brings spring tour to First Baptist
The Northwestern College Women's Chorale will perform at First Baptist Church, 341 N. Shore Drive, New Richmond, while touring a variety of venues in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota as part of their "Light the Way" spring tour. All performances are free and open to the public.
They will be joined in concert by the New Richmond High School Kammerchor. The concert will be held on Friday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The 80-voice chorale will perform a repertoire of classical and sacred music, including "Let All The World In Every Corner Sing," by Sven Lekberg; "Benedizione," by Joan Szymko; and "My Soul's Been Anchored in the Lord," by Hogan, arranged Rollo Dilworth. This ensemble is directed by Mary Kay Geston.
Northwestern College is a private Christian liberal arts college in St. Paul, Minn., offering 50 bachelor's degrees, two master's degrees and several associate degree and certificate programs -- all taught within a biblical Christian worldview.
