Doyle admits having second thoughts about not running
Gov. Jim Doyle admits having second thoughts about his decision not to run for re-election.
But he told reporters Wednesday he'll stick to it, and will use the $2 million in his campaign fund to support other candidates and causes.
The Democrat Doyle said two months ago that he won't seek a third term next fall.
Since then, Congressman Ron Kind shied away from the race and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett remains undecided.
