Driver's softball game draws 5,000
Over 5,000 Packer fans watched Sunday's annual charity softball game near Appleton - the first without Brett Favre.
When he retired in March, Favre canceled his annual game between the Green Bay offense and defense that raised millions for his foundation
However, receiver Donald Driver kept the event going and even though the crowd was smaller, he was happy with the turnout.
Driver said he was glad the weather cooperated and the game provided some welcome relief for people who endured the previous week's heavy rains and flooding.
The game went into extra innings and the offense, coached by Edgar Bennett, beat the defense 23-21.
The proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics and Goodwill.
