Over the past month and a half The SPACE has invited our community to participate in a community art project entitled "Drop Thoughts."

"Drop Thoughts" invited people to contribute an unspoken thought to a community art project. The unspoken thought could have been a regret, fear, betrayal, desire, dream, wish or confession. As long as it was true people were welcome to reveal anything. These thoughts were sent to us via mail or through the drop boxes located throughout our community.

The SPACE received an outstanding response to the project and are gearing up to display the "thoughts" in its gallery. The SPACE will kick off the exhibit with a free opening reception on Friday, April 9, from 6-9 p.m. at The SPACE, 156 High St., New Richmond. During this reception the public is invited to come in and view the thoughts and work from the community.

At 7 p.m. there will be live music with the popular Sam Salter. Salter's music is a mellow blend of jazz, folk and blues with soulful guitar and vocals.

This night is full of anonymous individuals sharing their creativity with our community and organizers hope that everyone join them.
