Dvorak had good initial leverage on Morrissey in their initial tie-ups but once the undefeated sophomore(42-0)got going he was able to win 16-0 in 4:27.

"We knew what he was good at and Haydon tried to stay away from it but he's a champion for a reason," Somerset head coach Grady Radabaugh said. "Good leverage, good control, he was able to get the rolls he wanted and that's how he scored his points."

Still, Radabaugh counseled Dvorak not to be too distraught over the loss.

"Last year he wasn't even down here and now he's a state runner-up," Radabaugh said. "I'd say that's one heck of an accomplishment.

Somerset also came away with a third place finisher in Gabe Flandrick. He won his first match Saturday afternoon 2-0 in overtime over Unity's Luke Nelson and then won the third place match 4-2 over Stetson McCauley of Valders.

St. Croix Central's Marcus Malecek finished fourth at 215. He beat Brandon Clapper of Plainfield Tri-County/Almond-Bancroft 4-2 but lost the third place match to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser/Priaire Farm's Shawn Robotka by a 5-1 score.

New Richmond's Joel Neumann finished sixth at heavyweight in Division 1. He lost both of his placing matches Saturday. He was pinned by Alex Cochrane of Kettle Moraine in 4:16 and he lost to Stevens Point's Lucas Skibba 2-1 in overtime.
