Ecumen Boardman Meadows residents celebrate the buildings’ 10th anniversary with friends and family at a dinner party Friday, Sept. 20. The residents and their guests were treated to a meal and live entertainment by a barbershop quartet and a harpist. Boardman Meadows, located on W. Eighth St. in New Richmond, almost never opened its doors 10 years ago after a fire burned the original building to the ground just two months before the scheduled grand opening. The building was quickly rebuilt and the residence were able to move in by the fall of 2003. Some of the residents have lived in the building since it opened 10 years ago.
