EPS, founded in 2006, is developing and manufacturing a new light-weight, high-powered diesel engine that is diesel/jet fuel compatible. The EPS Vision 350 engine that is being developed can be fitted to past, present and experimental aircraft designs without significant engineering changes and is suitable for helicopters, commercial, personal and military aircrafts.

EPS has secured the support of aircraft industry leaders, including world record pilot Dick Rutan (EPS Flight Test Advisor) and received a $2.95 million U.S. Air Force Rapid Innovation Fund Grant to help continue the development of the Vision 350 engine. The new engine will bring clean and efficient, "green" power to the forefront of aviation engines, according to EPS officials.

Tyler joins Michael Fuchs, president and experienced engineer, and Steven Weinzierl, vice president and accomplished mechanical engineer, both who have developed several notable engines and helped bring these new engines to market.

Tyler brings a new dimension to the EPS management team. Tyler has successfully led OEM Fabricators, Inc. an award-winning contract manufacturing company, for 27 years.

OEM, co-founded in 1986 by Tyler, began operations in a pole shed with three employees. Today the company has 500 employees and $75 million in revenue. OEM Fabricators, Inc. specializes in producing large complex welded and machined components for original equipment manufacturers. Additionally, the company was recently honored as the recipient of the 2012 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Award for Workforce Development.

Tyler serves as president of Wisconsin Technical College System Board, serves on the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents, and as a board member on Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce and the West Central Wisconsin Workforce Development boards.

"Mark brings proven leadership and years of experience to the EPS Management Team," Fuchs said. "Mark's entrepreneurial spirit combined with his exceptional professional background founding and running an extremely successful contract manufacturing company make him a true asset to EPS. We are very pleased that Mark has joined the EPS Board of Directors."

EPS has started Round C fundraising and Tyler's focus will be working with EPS's Chief Financial Officer Paul Mayer on the fundraising efforts and investor relationships for the company.
