Extreme Makeover-Home Edition coming to aid of Richland Center teacher
A rural Richland Center family heard Ty Pennington's famous "G-o-o-o-od Morning" megaphone greeting Thursday.
First-grade teacher Shelley Anders and four of her children are getting a new home thanks to ABC's Extreme Makeover-Home Edition.
Her ex-husband, Gary Beatty, died at a fireworks show four years ago at age 47.
Since then, it's been impossible to keep up with the home repairs. Things got so bad last winter, they couldn't get the wood for their furnace.
