Ferry-bus system established to deal with Winona Bridge closure
Starting Monday, a bus and ferry service will move people from western Wisconsin to Winona Minnesota.
That's after the city's only bridge over the Mississippi River was closed this week.
For three days, about 2,800 Wisconsinites have driven up to 100 miles out of their way to get to their jobs in Winona.
They'll pay $15 a week for a combined ferry-and-bus pass, or $5 for a one-time fee.
