Fewer snowmobile deaths despite more snow

Despite the snowiest winter in years, fewer people died in Wisconsin snowmobile crashes than last season.

The DNR put the final death toll at 25, one fewer than a year ago, and two fewer than the average for the last decade.

The DNR's Gary Eddy credits the lower death toll to the two-year-old night-time speed limit of 55 mph.
