Float Rite adds more stars to Country Splash line-up
In January, officials at Float-Rite Amphitheatre announced that they would host a large major country music festival that is within minutes of the Twin Cities metro area.
The Apple River Country Splash Festival at Float-Rite Amphitheater in Somerset will take place in early summer, June 19-21.
Initially, eight of Country Music's top artists were announced to perform, with more artists to be added in the coming weeks.
Float-Rite Amphitheatre and K102 radio, have made it known that six more top Country recording artists have been added to the "Splash" All Star Line Up. Fourteen of Nashville's top artists have now confirmed to perform at Country Splash 2008.
Confirmed on the Float-Rite Main Stage are Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, Gretchen Wilson, Clint Black, Trent Tomlinson, LeAnn Rimes, Josh Turner, Sara Evans, Jake Owen, Lone Star, Phil Vassar, John Michael Montgomery, Josh Gracin and Gary Allan.
The Midwest's Premier Party Band (and Local Favorite) the Dweebs will perform on the FloatRite second stage all three days.
Somerset is well known for hosting vibrant country-fan-friendly activities in the immediate locale of Float-Rite Park. These activities include, but are not limited to, tubing the World Famous Apple River, The Float-Rite Patio Bar overlooking the Apple River, volleyball, horseshoes, and additional musical performances within the campground.
