Former Somerset man sent to jail in child porn conviction

A former Somerset man was sentenced to jail and probation in a conviction on one felony count of possession of child pornography Tuesday, May 22.

Richard Lewis Tereau, 42, St. Paul, avoided prison if he never returns to Judge Howard W. Cameron's court on a criminal charge.

Judge Cameron sentenced Tereau to 10 months in St. Croix Count Jail and seven years probation. A five-year prison sentence was stayed with the judge's condition.
