Frank Springer, 77
Frank H. Springer, age 77, of New Richmond, died on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Bethesda Rehabilitation Hospital in St. Paul.
Frank was born March 21, 1936, at New Richmond, Wis. to Henry Peter Springer and Florence (Bock) Springer. He married Bernice Albrecht on Aug. 19, 1967, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Frank worked as a machinist at Doboy in New Richmond, and Honeywell in Golden Valley, Minn. He retired in 2008. Frank's hobby was making wooden toys. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church where he was confirmed and served as a Trustee and an usher. He graduated from New Richmond High School with the class of 1954.
He is preceded in death by his parents; aunts, Alice Bock and Carolyn (Springer) Kidder; cousins, Joanne Van Schoonhaven and Dorothy Haley; and uncles, Ludwig Springer and Ervin Springer.
Frank is survived by his wife, Bernice Springer; brother, David Springer; and brothers-in-law, James (Denise) Albrecht, Charles Albrecht, and Allen (Dee) Albrecht.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in New Richmond. Visitation will also be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park.
Honorary pallbearers are Don Derosier, Dennis Derosier, Troy Derosier, Ronald Friedrich, Lowell Volkert, and Dale Strege.
