St. Croix County is hosting a County Park Appreciation Weekend on Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, for all park visitors.

Appreciation Weekend offers free vehicle admission for all visitors into the county's three staffed parks -- Glen Hills Park, Troy Beach and Homestead Parklands on Perch Lake. (Additional fees for camping, fishing licenses, boat or canoe rental or group shelter rentals still apply.)

Discover and explore the St. Croix County Parks. Plan a family event to swim, fish, hike, picnic or just relax.

On Saturday, June 11, there will be a fishing contest that will take place at Homestead Parklands on Perch Lake from 9 a.m. - noon. The fishing contest is available to children of all ages. There will be volunteers available to assist children with fishing. Special appearance by "Bobber," the USACOE water safety mascot.
