Squire House Gardens in Afton, Minn., is presenting a series of Saturday afternoon gardening presentations during January and February.

The Winter Weekend Garden Talk and Tea series will feature discussions moderated by landscape artist and shop owner, Martin Stern. Complimentary tea will be served. The schedule includes:

--Saturday, Jan. 19, 1 p.m.: Photo presentation on Vita Sackville-West and Sissinghurst Castle Gardens.

--Saturday, Feb. 16, 1 p.m.: Newly introduced perennial plants.

--Saturday, Feb. 23, 1 p.m.: Gardening in the shade.

The presentations are free but reservations are appreciated. RSVP via email at Squire House or call (651) 436-8080. Squire House Gardens is located at 3390 Saint Croix Trail South.
