German Settlement prepares for annual barn dance

The third annual German Settlement Barn Dance is set for Saturday, Oct 4.

Treats such as German potato salad, bratwurst, sauerkraut and non-alcoholic beverages may be purchased starting at 6 p.m. Live music by Mike & Eddie (members of "Trigger Happy") will be from 7 to 10 p.m.

Admission is $5 per member and $6 minimum donation for non-members of the German Settlement Heritage Society. Children under 12 years old are free.

Valuable prizes will be given away. Profits are for preservation projects of the German Settlement Heritage Society, Inc. Come and see historical exhibits, slide show and books.

The barn is at the Michael and Evonne Ganz farm, 565 County Road U, six miles north of River Falls on Co. Rd. U.
