Green Machine set to return to St. Croix Central
The Green Bay Packers' basketball team is making a trip back to Hammond again this year.
The Green Machine, made up of Packer football players, travels the state playing games against local teams for charity.
There will be two games played in Hammond this year. The first is Friday, April 3 at 6 p.m., followed by a game on Saturday, April 4 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 each.
The Green Machine will play two 20-minute periods with a half hour autograph session at halftime. Autographs are $5 each.
Shirts (for autographs) will be available for $10 each at the time of ticket sales.
If you choose not to purchase a shirt, you may bring one item per person in to have autographed.
Tickets and shirts will be on sale at the St. Croix Central High School, 1751 Broadway St., Hammond, on the following dates:
Saturday, Feb. 21: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 23: 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 27: 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
Due to expenses incurred sponsoring this event, all event attendees must have a ticket. Please plan your ticket purchases accordingly.
According to the Green Bay Packers Web site, last year's event in Hammond drew about 1,200 fans.
All Proceeds benefit the Senior All-Night Party.
