Hamm picked for U.S. gymnastics team, brother not on roster
Paul Hamm of Waukesha was named Tuesday to the U.S. men's gymnastics team, but his twin brother Morgan is being kept off the roster for now.
Paul Hamm won the all-around title at a meet in Las Vegas last weekend - his first full-fledged competition since winning Olympic gold in Athens four years ago.
Morgan Hamm is recovering from a torn pectoral muscle. He'll have another chance to make the U.S. squad in April, at a qualifying meet for the national championships.
The nationals will take place May 22-24 in Houston.
A new U-S squad will be named after that and from there, the top-six will be chosen to compete in the Beijing Olympics in August.
