Harold and family have so appreciated having our friend Jason Jones here to help. As everyone who knows Harold, he is smiling down at us this moment, full of love and grace. Harold attended college at Stevens Point, Wis., and then enlisted in the Army as a medic in Germany during the Vietnam War. For 38 years, Harold was employed in St. Paul as a purchasing agent and manager for a paper company. He retired in 2002 and enjoyed the rest of his years on the Apple River with Ilene, children, relatives, and many friends.
Cullen Crea Funeral Home, New Richmond, Wis., is handling funeral arrangements. Harold wished to be cremated. Visitation without viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at St. Anne's Fellowship Hall in Somerset, Wis. A Mass will follow at the church at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon in the basement.
