Harsdorf announces re-election bid
Sen. Sheila Harsdorf, R-River Falls, formally announced her re-election bid for the 10th Senate District seat she has held since 2000.
In her announcement Harsdorf noted some of her accomplishments including bills to crack down on methamphetamine production, enabling the creation of health care cooperatives and the Frankenstein Veto Amendment which limited the line item veto authority of the governor.
She also announced her Blueprint for Property agenda which encompasses issues such as health care, taxes, economic growth, illegal immigration and energy.

Harsdorf will face Democratic-challenger Alison Page, also of River Falls, in the November election.
