Megan Jane Haugen and Matthew Stephen Diediker were united in marriage on May 26, 2012 at the Historic Stillwater Courthouse in Stillwater, Minn.

The bride is a New Richmond High School and Hamline University graduate. The groom is from Hinton, Iowa and a Macalester College graduate.

Parents of the bride are Kate and Michael Haugen. Parents of the groom are Pam and Steve Diediker.

The honorable judge Thomas Armstrong conducted the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Emily Haugen, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lacy Schumann, friend of the bride; Jessica Stovall, friend of the bride; Krystal Tschumperlin, friend of the bride; Kristen Bernard, friend of the bride; and Britta Schwartzhoff, friend of the bride.

The best man was Jeff Diediker, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Damon Dahlheimer, friend of the groom; Dan Frey, friend of the groom; Lee Dooley, friend of the groom; Tyson O'Connell, friend of the groom; and Brandon Livermore, friend of the groom.

Junior attendant was Cleo Haugen, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Jack Diediker, nephew of the groom.

Junior hostess was Josie Haugen, niece of the bride; and flower girl was Freya Haugen, niece of the bride.

Musicians were Jason Haugen, brother of the bride, and Lee Stovall, friend of the bride. Reader was Brian Towns, friend of the groom.

Ushers were Bryan Diediker, brother of the groom; Seth Diediker, brother of the groom; Nick Elders, friend of the groom; and Brian Towns, friend of the groom.

A reception was held in the Stillwater Public Library.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip to Italy, Greece and Turkey. The couple is now living in Stillwater, Minn. Both are high school teachers in Minnesota.
