James Edward Gadach, 63
James Edward Gadach, age 63, of New Richmond, Wis., died on Thursday, Dec. 19, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
He was born on June 7, 1950, in Elk River to Edward & Eileen (Posterick) Gadach. He graduated from Elk River High School in 1969, and then joined the Marine Corps where he served for 2 years. He worked as a customer service representative for Arrow Building, as well as other lumber yards in the area. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. After retirement, he loved to go to auctions and garage sales.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward; infant brother, Steven; and his grandparents, Michael and Rose Gadacz, William and Claudia Posterick.
Survived by his wife, Marilyn (Lee); children, Adam (Jackie) Gadach, Eric (Michelle) Gadach, and Iris (Mike) Ristow; mother, Eileen Gadach; siblings, Teresa Gadach, Gerald Gadach, Edward (Amy) Gadach, Lynn Gadach, Mary Jo Gadach, Janet (Glen) Tschida; grandchildren, Makayla, and Annabelle; step children, Jeff (GyGy) Lee, and Kevin (Jen) Lee; step grandchildren, Anna Lee, Allison Lee, and Nick Lee, Natasha Lee, Heather Lee, Rachel Lee, and Nathan Lee; step great-grandchildren Isabel, Chase, and Aleah.
Memorial service 11 a.m. Monday Dec. 23, at the New Richmond United Methodist Church, 209 East 2nd St. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Sunday, at the Church and also one hour prior to the service.
