Jefferson County judge to run against Chief Justice Abrahamson
For the third year in a row, we could see a partisan-style State Supreme Court election next spring.
Jefferson County Circuit Judge Randy Koschnick announced Monday he'll run against Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson.
Koschnick, who's been on the bench since 1999, calls himself the judicial conservative.
He labeled Abrahamson as liberal and activist.
Koschnick said judges should respect the laws the Legislature passes and not look for reasons to overturn them.
