Email

Ellen Junko and Megan McCarthy have been named New Richmond High School's valedictorians for the 2011-12 school year.

The two girls hold 4.0 GPAs, earning them the valedictorian titles, and will both be awarded the school's academic excellence scholarships, $2,500 per year for four years, which can be used toward tuition at any Wisconsin college. These scholarships are awarded to seniors with the highest GPA. Half of the scholarship is funded by the state, while the other half is matched by the institution.
