Kenseth 18 at Lenox Industrial Tools 301
In NASCAR, Matt Kenseth of Cambridge finished 18th in Sunday's rain-shortened Lenox Industrial Tools 301 in Loudon, N.H.
The race was called with 17 laps left on the one-mile track.
Kenseth dropped one place to 13th in the Sprint Cup point standings. He's just two points away from the final qualifying spot for the season-ending Chase for the series' championship.
Paul Menard of Eau Claire took 30th in the race and he remains 26th for the year.
Travis Kvapil of Janesville placed 36th at Loudon and he fell one spot in the point totals to 19th.
Johnny Sauter of Necedah took 37th in his fourth race of the year. He jumped nine places in the standings to 54th.
Kurt Busch won the race, staying on the track while the leaders were in the pits when the event was called. Kyle Busch is still the Sprint Cup points' leader.
